About the event
At noon on January 1, 2026, there will be a short ceremony at the Wallingford Historical Society's Samuel Parsons House at 180 South Main Street to kickoff Wallingford's America250 celebration. The primary feature of the ceremony will be the ringing of the old Town Hall Bell for three minutes at approximately 12:05 PM. This will be followed by announcing the various America250 events which are being planned for celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.
Everyone is welcome to join us at this event.
